Month 9. We are in beautiful Nepal. This is by far my coldest month on the race. Sweatpants, sweatshirts, blankets, and scarves are all being used, especially at night!
one of the gorgeous views we have here (in the distance are the Himalayas with snow on top!)
We have a very laid-back ministry here, but there is plenty to do. My team, along with JD’s team, are staying at an orphanage/church. There are about 15 kids that live in the building with us. Our meals are prepared by a few teenage girls that also live there. When we return home we are greeted by a multitude of hugs, smiles, and high fives. There are some afternoons that are set aside for us to play with the kids; so that is a fun part of our ministry this month.

A big chunk of our ministry here is prayer. Last week we prayer-walked a Buddhist temple and a Hindu temple. We have also been praying for healing for a friend who lives down the road from us (more details on this to come:) This week we are planning on teaching at school on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
