Last
week while everyone was deforesting the rainforest, I was in bed
sleeping. But after yesterday morning I can definitely say that I’ve
helped in the deforestation effort. On Sunday when we were walking
to church we discovered the road was blocked by a newly built fence.
The owners of the land the road is on decided to put it up and try to
get Pastor Al to buy it. Instead of spending the money on buying the
current road, which would be very expensive, we started building a
new road. The road we are building goes through the forest and up
the side of the mountain. It was hard work but we were happy we
could help build the people in this community a new road.

me tell you, I feel so clean right now. After relaxing in the ocean
for a little bit, I bathed for the first time since last Wednesday.
Now if only I get around to doing some laundry:)
EDIT: I felt clean until we went snorkeling this morning and now I am hot, sweaty, and coated in salt water
Just
in case you were wondering, I am feeling better. My energy level is
still on the mend, but I am feeling more and more like myself daily.
