I’m in Africa!! Asia is done and now I have a new family in Rwanda.
We are working with Pastor Innocent and his wife Vinessia. They have truly been amazing! We have been praying for unity within our team and God has been answering our prayers. We have had so much time of laughter, story telling, and I feel like we are sisters!
This month has been truly a month of God’s favor! We stay at the Pastors home and they have 3 sons, ages 7,5,3. So its just like having my neices and nephews around…except they are brown babies:) I love it!
Our ministry this month has been preaching…preaching…and preaching some more:) Its Africa! It has been so much fun though, watching my teammates get up and preach for their first time ever. I love being challenged by my team and watching God use the sermons to speak and correct us.
We have also taught at a school, mainly with Pre-K and Kindergarteners. It was tons of crazy kiddos and a few of us, but we managed to teach them numbers, the alphabet, and Simon says! Simon says ended up being the best idea ever! and we used it for a long time!! haha. The things you have to come up with quickly in Africa is amazing and quite funny.
God has been so good to us, for the most part our team is healthy, our contact has treated us like queens, blessing us with amazing food and acting like we are his daughters. Jesus knew that our team needed a family to help the void of our families back home and they truly have been a gift from Jesus.
God has been so good to us! When you pray for favor he answers and this has been an incredible month for our team Segullah.
I have more stories but my internet time is out and insanely slow so I will share again soon! We leave for Kenya on Thurs, a 24 hour bus ride! Please pray for us:)
Love you all!
PS- I have 134 braids in my hair! I look Africa
