Gates creak at the entrance below…minutes later the gentle hum of voices begin and continue to build. Half-asleep in the room above, I know the 5am prayer meeting has begun. At times I hear praises to my Lord Jesus being sung, then voices rise as they call for the will of the Father to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Every morning two men show up to this prayer meeting, the pastor of the church and an elder. Their faithfulness to come before the throne of God has been abundantly rewarded. This month, I have reaped and witnessed the fruit of their faithfulness. It has been by far the most fruitful month I have experienced on the Race, the ministry has been effortless, personal growth substantial, spiritual growth measurable, and team growth amazing.

In addition to 5am prayer, this room is a place the church opens up for young people come to spend time with the Lord before school, the church has become a refuge for these young people as most of them are the only Christian in their family. The faithfulness of this tiny church in rural Thailand has reminded me to be faithful in the small things, that I will reap what I sow, and those around me will be blessed by the overflow of the Lord’s goodness, as we were by this group of faithful believers!
