I had the privilege to work with PopKids, the portion of PopUp that works with Early Childhood Education/Day Care for those who work and live around PopUp. I worked with the one and two year olds. The phrase “Love Well Now” was on my mind. How do I love these kids in a way that they know that Jesus loves them?  Since communication was limited because the children didn’t have an extensive vocabulary to begin with, but when they talked it was one of the 11 national languages of South Africa, I learned that praying blessings and speaking into their lives with Truth, along with a lot of hugs, was the way that we communicated.
Isaiah 55:10-11
New International Version (NIV)
10 As the rain and the snow
    come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
    without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Trusting that God has a plan for their lives and that they are beautiful in God’s eyes.  His promises don’t only apply to the people who speak English, who meet in a church every week, can read them for themselves… they apply to those who call upon His name.
