I can’t believe how much has changed in just a month! July 7th I married the love of my life on the beaches of El Salvador. I was so blessed to have my parents and two of my siblings be apart of our special day. I was a bit nervous before my parents arrived because my Dad had never met Victor before. But everything went so well! I am glad to say that my parents like Victor and Victor likes my parents. Whew!
We were able to spend a few days at an all-inclusive resort with my family. Which was a great stress relief and I was happy to sleep in air conditioning again for a few days. Our wedding day went by so fast. People always told me that on your wedding day you need to take it all in because it goes by so fast. They weren’t kidding! It seemed like I blinked and it was over. But it was one of the happiest days of my life. It wasn’t what I imagined when I was little. All of my family and friends couldn’t be there. But the man was more than I could have ever imagined. I am very blessed to call Victor Manuel Reyes my husband. He has such a loving heart. He loves serving God and serving others. He is my best friend!
I am also happy to say that the church plant we have been working with held their first Sunday service last week! Over 50 people came to the first service and we are praying that God continues to grow the ministry and transform lives.
I am continuing the music school out of our house. I have become a bit discouraged because some of the students haven’t been coming. But I am being faithful in the little things and trusting that God will continue to grow it.
Please pray for Victor and I as we begin this new journey together. Please pray for the church we are working with that God will give us wisdom in how to lead and love the people. Please pray for the music school, that God will bring the right students to the school. Please pray for strength and encouragement. Also, I have been sick in bed for the past week, so please pray for healing.
