Greetings,

As many of you know, God has placed me on a wild adventure over the last 5 years teaching me all sorts of fun things; from learning that youth ministry is unique to every student – to how to lay stone – how to live peacefully with 4 small children, and what it means to really live in the Mid-West – Go South Dakota!
But most importantly God has been breaking down walls, and opening up windows to reveal who He as really created me to be.

This fall, God opened a door that will change the world as we know it.
I have been given the opportunity to spend the next year of my life traveling around the world sharing the message of GRACE, HOPE & LOVE to the people in my path.
I will be participating in the June 2007 World Race sponsored by Adventures In Missions (AIM).
Myself and a group of 40-50 people will be traveling to 11 different countries in 11 months, sharing the life saving message of Jesus Christ.
The purpose of AIM’s World Race is to challenge, support and lead others to passionately and faithfully follow God’s leading in a culturally effective way.

AIM is passionate not just about reaching the world but raising up and training disciples who want to change the world.
They have chosen me to be a part of this team to take the saving message of Jesus Christ to the very ends of the earth.
I am honored, excited and scared to death for this adventure placed before me.
My personal goal is that through this experience God will deepen my dependence on Him, open my ears to hear His voice clearly and embrace His mission.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime, but I can not do it without you.
God may not be calling you to leave your home and family for a year, but he may be leading you to participate in this mission through prayer and support.
The World Race itself will cost $13,000, which will cover my housing, food, and transportation on the race.
However that does not cover the cost of medical/travel insurance, the cost of transportation to and from the race, travel visas, and other supplies that I will need for the year.

One section of scripture has been a constant in my life the last few years and is now echoing back concerning the financial aspect of the race, it is part of Jesus teaching in the Sermon on the Mount where he says,
“Therefore I tell you do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear.
Is not life more important that food and the body more important that clothes?
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not much more valuable than they?”

  Matthew 6:25-27.
I know that God is calling me to this race and will provide all that I need.
Is God calling you to support this race in whatever way you can?
Are you willing to hear and respond to His call?

Your financial support can be given in monthly payments throughout the trip or as a one time gift.
I have enclosed a response card and a pre-addressed envelope, which invites you share in this ministry.
  Please make checks payable to
Adventures In Missions.
  Please write “
appealed by Beth Schroeder” on the memo line, to have the support go directly into my account.
Including the enclosed card will provide AIM with all the necessary information.
In turn, they will send you a receipt.
All gifts made to out to AIM are tax deductible.
