Tomorrow is the deadline that determines whether the squad I encountered at launch contains all the people I met and now affectionately call "squad mate." I want every single one of them with me on this journey and since there is nothing too impossible for God, I ask that you help us get them to launch! Because just like He called me to this Race, He has called them, and some of them are still in need of financial support in order to meet the call God has placed on their lives. So first, please PRAY that money comes through for all. Second, maybe some of us can give. Whatever you can do, I ask that you do it! Nothing is too small, because our God CAN DO MUCH WITH LITTLE. Remember, He fed 5000 with 5 loaves and 2 fishes!

These people are friends, confidantes, supporters, adventurers, and Holy Spirit-filled people that I hope to learn and grow with and from this next year. THEY ARE MY FAMILY FOR THIS NEXT YEAR, AND FOR LIFE.  Because training camp was not enough time to get to know everyone, I know these people at varying levels, but this I do know and honestly is all that matters:

They have a relationship with JESUS CHRIST and desire to know Him more.

They want to share the good news.

They want to live out the call they have to missions, this race and to ASIA.

In this way, they are NO DIFFERENT than me.

So if you want to learn more about them, read below, follow their links, PRAY for funding, and if you can, GIVE! And know that by giving to them, you are still investing in me, and most importantly, investing in the KINGDOM!

Thank you in advance for your help and support in this! Here are the awesome people who still need help…. They are listed in the order of their need!

Janet Castaneda— This girl, another Texan, is sweet as can be! We shared a pack on our night in the wilderness and slept next to each other, and she is so down to earth and knowledgeable in the Word, as she recently finished her degree at Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, TX.  She still needs $3070 so to give to her and make this journey possible for her, head to http://janetcastaneda.theworldrace.org/

Landon Brake— Landon is a fellow Texan and lives in the Tomball area. He is a military veteran and overall awesome guy who loves Jesus. He always has a smile and laugh to give, and I can't imagine this team without him! He still needs $2900 to meet the deadline. Visit his site to learn more about Him and donate at landonbrake.theworldrace.org

Steff Polivka— Y'all, this girl is a ROCK STAR. Literally, as she saved us in many challenges during our time at TC– from dances with Jerry Spice to donut eating, she attacked challenges with vigor and I know she will continue to do so on the race.  SHE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE. You know those people you meet and are immediately drawn to because of their zest for life and you can't help but want to be around them? Yep, that's Steff.  I love her quirkiness and how empowered she is to be all of who she is. Seeing as I struggle with that, this aspect of her is JESUS to me. She makes me laugh until I cry and I need people like her in my life, as I do not "pee in my pants" laugh often enough.  She is also so generous as she willingly shared her two man tent with me and another squadmate at TC without batting an eye when Jordan and I both found ourselves victim to "the airport lost your luggage" scenario. Just like squeezing 3 in a two man tent, she would give someone her right arm if she thought it would be of help to them, so please help out this sister! She still needs $2000 to meet her deadline! Visit her site to see her heart and to give if you feel led at http://steffpolivka.theworldrace.org/

Jessica Timmerman— This girl is on my team and I will be doing life with her daily, but only if she gets there! I want to get to know her more deeply and live life with her on this Race, so please help her through prayer and/or giving! She is working her tail off to make this Race happen, but she still needs $1500 to meet the deadline! To learn more about her and to give, check out her blog at jessicatimmerman.theworldrace.org

Whitney Vines— A fellow Texan who helped me grow in awareness during my week at TC, and for that I am so thankful.  She has a heart for Asia, as like me she has spent time there, but she was a missionary with YWAM and there for a much longer period than me.  She still needs $1245 to meet the deadline. Please pray and/or give to help her surpass this deadline! Visit her site at http://whitneyvines.theworldrace.org/
