I asked God for strength, that I might achieve.
I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health, that I might do greater things.
I was given infirmity, that I might do better things.
I asked for riches, that I might be happy.
I was given poverty, that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men.
I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life.
I was given life, that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I asked for but got everything I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am, among all people, most richly blessed.

I just read this in my devotional Bible, and realize how much this echoes my life and what my life will be on the World Race. It truly is a blessing to humble myself before others and ask for provision, because I am feeling/will feel the need to rely on Him. He knows what we need, and I am seeing how much blessing comes from sacrifice, how much of what I thought I wanted doesn't satisfy and how great His blessings are when we give up our life to follow Him!
Thank you to those who are blessing me and the nations through your giving! You are richly blessing me through your support and I am thrilled to partner with you on this journey for Him!
