As a World Racer, $16,254.35 is broken down by these categories…
Training Camp–$320 – (Covers my training camp in July, I’ll meet my squad & get a crash course on World Race life)
Field Support–$620 – (Helping to get us supplies, local ministry contacts, etc.)
WR Development Program–$1,860 (Improvements and Developments for what’s to come)
Administration Fees–$2,635 – (Processing, paying the staff who literally sets up ALL of our travel, meals, missions)
World Racer–$10,075
65% goes towards my expenses for the 11 months.
My budget is broken down into these categories…
Intercontinental Travel–$4,235.00
Food–$1,256.25
Lodging–$1,758.75
Transportation–$1,005.00
Long Distance Travel & Misc. Supplies–$1,115.55
However, this does not include other expenses such as:
* International Insurance ($753.35)
* Daily $ to live on while on the Race ($1,500+, $3-5 a day)
*Gear & Supplies needed for the WR (I’ll post a blog on gear needs as well ;))

MISSION: Growing the kingdom of God! Loving, serving, and giving my all to the need at hand. My squad will pray with prostitutes sold in the night, fight human trafficking, work in special needs orphanages, build churches, work with non-profits and hospital ministry, love on the ones left alone and forgotten in prisons and in their own homes. We will hold abandoned babies and children, teach English classes, pray, feed the hungry in shelters or in the street and do our very best to meet the need when we arrive.
DEADLINES
$3,500– Due 6/25/2014 (Shameless Side Note: I graduate MAY 2 & my 24th birthday is JUNE 1st)
$7,500– Due 8/18/2014 (almost time to launch!!!!)
$11,000– Due 12/1/2014 (CHRISTMAS!) (End of 3 months on the field)
$16,254.35– ($15,500+ insurance $753.35 ) TOTAL Due 3/1/2015

This is another great way to help me with purchasing unexpected necessities that come along with this joyful journey following the Lord! Passport photos, vaccinations, mosquito net, food on travel days, coffee when I can and so much more! This summer I made a little over $2,000 working at camp. I use that to purchase durable clothes, a working laptop so I can FaceTime YOU and for toothpaste, shampoo, and extras on the field!
