Welcome to Month 1 on my 11 month mission trip around the world. My team worked at Esquela Especial in Santa Cruz Del Quiche Guatemala. I’ve played more soccer this month than in my entire 24 years of life, I’ve learned spanish sign language, made bff’s at escuela especial, worked as a nurse/ pharmacist at Sally’s clinic in the mountains, walked in the Guatemalan Independence Day parade with our kids, lost my only pants, found my only pants, visited Mayan ruins, hiked Indian Nose at 4am, Kayaked Lake Atitlan, learned at least 99 new words in spanish, experienced my first tuktuk rides and chicken bus, eating street food, getting sick from street food, sitting and praying for families waiting at the hospital, feeding families outside at hospital, and assisted the Lord in providing a new wheelchair/P.E.T.(personal energy transportation device, that our teams built!) for one of our students at the school. I’ve experienced the World Race WiFi struggle, the rainy/monsoon season of Central America, and God in ways that I could have never imagined! Month 1 has been wild! My team is growing closer to each other and the Lord, my squad is a constant source of love and encouragement! Please Pray for my Squad as we continue on the year around the world! Love you all!! And thank you for loving me back! ?#‎BethBeyondBorders?

Then I heard the voice of The Lord saying,

“whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

And I said, “Here am I. SEND ME!”
