5. PRAYER PRAYER PRAYER!!! Too ofter we underestimate the astonishing power of prayer! When we are praying according to God’s will, our prayers are unstoppable.
Jesus made this promise: “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you” (John 15:7).
As I walk in fellowship and grow closer to the Lord I am learning daily how to “abide in Him” Paul echoes this idea in Colossians 3:16, where he writes, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly,” a statement closely related to his similar encouragement in Ephesians 5:18: “be filled with the Spirit.” This is what I want, I want to abide in the Lord, pray for His plan and His will to reign, to be filled with the spirit here, now, and always.
1st John 5:14–15 says, “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”
Therefore, we should never give up or back down. I need your prayers! That is why Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you” Matthew 7:7.
6. Ok, lastly I’m just gonna say it like it is folks… Words of Affirmation is my thing. #truth All. Day. Long. You tell me you’re proud of me? Oh My Glory to the HOLY HEAVENS LOVE TANK FULL I’ll beam with approval, feel loved and chances are I’ll believe you! ! You tell me I’m a smelly loser with frizzy hair…. then I’ll shower, shave my head, and look up youtube videos on “how to be cool”… ok maybe not that extreme but you see, words go far with me! ENCOURAGEMENT keeps me going! Knowing that I’m not alone in this World Race journey encourages me more than I can say! So Encourage, pray for, and reach out to every World Racer you can!
