What would you do if after spending 2 months in Central America you had a 16 hour layover in the USA???
On November 1st at 6:27pm my team will land in Los Angles, California in route to country #3 the Philippines! We have 16 free hours on American soil and have the freedom to spend it however we want, we just have to be back at LAX by 7am November 2nd!
So here’s my “dream plan” I want to: mail stuff like my jacket, sentimental gifts, and coins home. I want to eat Mac n cheese, biscuits with apple butter, and pecan pie so maybe find a Cracker Barrel? #DREAMBIG It would be great to spend a least an hour in target restocking and replacing the necessities. I want to wash my clothes in a real washer and dryerand spend an uninterrupted amount of time taking a real indoor shower with hot water. Maybe use fast internet, call my mom and friends on my phone, and sleep without dengue fever mosquitoes and rooster crows until 6am November 2nd. This is the life folks!
