This week, I:
-Read and shared what I am learning in Proverbs with 11 incredible women after listening to each of them share what they were learning.
-Played with three adorable kids.
-Prayed over a woman as God broke down the walls to her heart.
-Took burritos to the women working on the streets.
-Saw a 12-year-old on the street, forced into prostitution.
-Heard stories of hundreds of children being rescued from brothels.
-Had a sleepover with five women who have never had a sleepover before (and by sleepover, I mean an overnight…. Little sleep was actually involved!)
-Laughed as we played games together.
-Worshiped in Spanish with the women.
-Cried over a teenage girl who hasn’t been here for three days.
-Helped teach English to five women who make it SO much fun!
-Fell more and more in love with these incredible women who were victims of sex trafficking as I watched them experience the healing that only God can give.
I don’t want to leave and fully intend to enjoy each and every moment of the next 10 days here!
God, fill me with love that overflows for these incredible women.Show me ways I can love them. Shine through me so they may know You.
