Prayers:
Pray that the US would turn its eyes back to the Lord. That we wouldn’t be consumed by the desire for more and the “next best thing” but that we would have an eternal perspective. Pray that God would give each heart a desire for something greater (JESUS!), and that each person would not rest until they find themselves trusting in Him. Pray that those who do follow Jesus would allow the Lord to do a mighty work in their heart–that they would be transformed from a heart of fear and doubt, to a heart of boldness, strength and love! Pray that as we work with the Americans that they are not longer hopeless and empty, but accept the fullness of God and find satisfaction in His love and presence. Pray for a revival to come to the land of the US–for a nation of people to raise up and work to love the way Jesus loved and served, speak out against the lies and replace it with the truth of God’s Word, and be willing to allow God to transform the desires of their heart to reflect the desires of the Lord’s. Would you pray that our hearts would break for the things that breaks the Lord? Would you pray for our eyes to be opened to the Truth and not to fall into the pit of temptation from the enemy?
