Wrapping up Training Camp
January 9: Today we started team formation activities. To be honest, I was nervous but excited about these. I had expectations for the way groups would be formed and I had ideas about who or who not to put on my team. This desire control goes back to my lack of trust in His provision and perfection. It has taken me a few days to become content with His plan. I had to repent of my doubt and my fear for the family He has designed for me.
January 13: As I process the team they picked for me, I had to feed truth into my heart. I knew that He has handpicked each of these ladies to serve next to me. I must make the choice to love and serve them. I must embrace the journey that He has me on, instead of focusing on the destination. I knew that the Lord would use these 5 ladies to call me to a deeper relationship with the Lord.
Our group will be forceful. We will be warriors for the Kingdom. Our team will overcome. We will receive healing and reconciliation from the Lord. Our team will experience freedom from the Holy Spirit, and become dangerous women for the kingdom. We will all lead. We will be called to use our gifts, and even use undiscovered gifts. We will be challenged. We will depend on His Spirit. We will be changed so that we can change His world.
I know that the Lord has great and abundant plans for my group. It has been exciting to see how the Lord has moved in our group already—opening up about pains, brokenness, fears. We have prayed over each other—prayed for chains to be broken, freedom to be released, and light to shine in the darkness from the enemy.
Would you join in prayer for my group?
