The Lord is faithful.

Do we truly understand and grasp this?

At times, I feel that I understand this in my head, but forget that He desires to be abundantly faithful in my life. The distance from my head to heart is oftentimes too cluttered to grasp the reality of His promises and truths (even with a head knowledge of them).

The Lord has been evident in my life, in an abundantly faithful ways lately.

1. As I reflect on my process for the World Race, I realized that in my 5 months of fundraising, He has provided almost $12000 and many of my supplies through donations (this includes: a MacBook Air and a tent).

2. Through an event at the church, I was able to walk through salvation with two girls that attend local colleges. Also, one of the girls was able to be baptized that night and her family was able to experience the event through live streaming on the Internet.

3. I have continued to see my friends desire the Bible and interest grow to know Him more through the Word.

4. I ran into a friend that I have been praying for 2 years at church.

5. I have experienced freedom from shame, doubt and fear by attending a women’s conference, ONE (a night for the colleges around Asheville), and weekly services at church.

6. He has been refining my heart to look more like Him, especially in the area of pride. This has been a work in process, and it is painful. I know that the results of this refinement will help benefit my future teammates, my family, my friends and my heart. Even through my heart issue of pride, it is wild to know that He desires to pursue and sanctify my heart to reflect His goodness and love.

I am so thankful that He is still at work in my life and in all around me. I am grateful that He is the Rock that won’t move even in the chaos, and His love cannot be undone. I rest in His grace and love as they wash over me day by day, and that help to make me brave and bold for His name’s sake. I am beyond excited to see how He continues to work in my life over the next year, and how He pushes me continually out of my comfort zone. It excites me to know that He wants to abundantly bless me. His faithfulness is overwhelming.
