1. Life is simple. Enjoy the little moments.
2. Worship God in all things. His creation, His people, His character.
3. Adventure makes life memorable.
4. Joy is universal, and so are smiles.
5. Embrace the traditions and culture of the country.
6. Try new things, especially the food.
7. Fellowship is a beautiful thing. Enjoy it. Love deeply. Extend forgiveness and grace often.
8. Dance with the Father. He desires to reach down to you and whisper into your heart.
9. Transportation is full of memories—memorable statements becoming quotes, silly stories, heartfelt conversations, completing paperwork with headlamps, bumpy roads, swaying, sleeping, snacking, praying.
10. Perspectives change. The Lord uses people, situations and culture to shift your mindset on life. The perspective of “Jesus on my skin” is very different than the American missionary mindset. It is a beautiful concept—we must be willing to be any step in the process (planting, watering, harvesting, pruning, encouraging)
11. Random moments with community are the best. Trusting in His guidance leads to memorable and meaningful blessings. Leading to renewal and excitement for the Kingdom.
