A little bit about me…

Basics first:

I grew up in Portsmouth, Ohio, with an incredible family. I was lucky enough to have wonderful immediate and extended family and holidays were always a special time.

I went to Ohio University with a major in Public Relations. I joined Phi Mu sorority, Cru, AFROTC and Kappa Phi Christian women’s service organization.

After graduation, I commissioned into the Air Force, became a Logistics Readiness Officer and over the past eight years have deployed several times and been stationed in Washington, DC; Korea; and Florida.

I got my M.A. in International Relations concentrating on foreign policy and conflict resolution from George Washington University while I was stationed in D.C.

Fun stuff:

I got my first motorcycle in DC and love the feel of a sport bike (my baby is a ’06 Yamaha R6).

I cannot get enough of autumn and especially Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

I LOVE college football and am a huge Michigan and OU fan.

I think life is about God, experiences and relationships.

I hate bees and freak out easily if one gets too close to me.

There are very few places I don’t want to travel to.

As an LRO, I’ve worked with a lot of wonderful people in many different career fields but I’m a transportation officer at heart.

That’s it for starters. More to follow…
