There are some things I know to expect when I set off on the World Race in January.
- I will serve.
- I will explore.
- I will pray.
- I will take risks.
- I will love the unlovable.
- I will get dirty.
- I will grow.
- I will change.
I don’t know exactly what ministry I will be doing in each country but typically they look like: partnering with churches and ministries in communities to preach the Gospel, working in orphanages, planting churches, and ministering to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking.
Over the years I have learnt to expect the unexpected. So I am trying not to put too many expectations on what will happen on the race – instead just opening myself to be led by God.
While I am out of the field I will try to put it into words what I am experiencing on the World Race – sometimes that will be easy, other times it is just something you would have had to experience yourself. But if you want to take a look at what the World Race does look like then the team at Adventures in Missions have put together an awesome video to help you be a part of what I will experience.
See The World (Race) in Three Minutes.
Thanks for joining me on the next chapter of my life!
