Dear Fam,
So sorry to keep you waiting with bated breath for another update from this future world traveler. The past few weeks have been full of adventures and, well, packing.
I spent one week in Rome at ye dear ol' Berry College for one last hurrah before blowing this popsicle stand.
I returned the truck that my boss graciously allowed me to borrow for the summer.
I ate at Duffy's Deli ONE MORE TIME (chicken salad wrap on spinach with lettuce grilled with a pickle and some chips).
I used one more of Sarah's coupons for Queso at Chili's (it's our fav).
I sang my heart out at Connect Rome City Church for the last time.
I cried my eyes out in a tearfelt goodbye to said church in the embrace of one of the sweetest women and mentors I have ever known.
I had just ONE more Campfire Frappe from Pal's Coffee+Company.

I celebrated my best friend's 21st birthday with Gumbeaux's, a cookie cake, mexican, and drinks out with our favorite ladies!
I said goodbye to Dvegas and my best friend's family who have become so much my own family.
I helped some of those ladies decorate their new apartment (shoutout to the 310!).
I made chicken salad for my best friend.
I took a stroll around the great BC and went up to my favorite spot on campus – The Old Mill.
I had a sleepover with the 310.
I chatted it up for a few hours with tons of people who came to see me off – including, but not limited to, my two best friends from all four years of college, my fabulous 310 ladies, the ladies of the 208, the sweet Lynch's, and my Em bucket and her beau Austen. (This also included tears)
I had CFA one mo time with my bestie and my parents…and cried a lot.
I said goodbye to some of the most incredible memories, places, and family that I have ever had in my entire life.
SINCE THEN….
I have been packing. Like..a lot. Always packing. Packing everything. Re packing. Trying to figure out what not to pack (this should be a show, like What Not To Wear). Visiting my Granddaddy. Spending the night with my cousins because they're awesome. Shopping. Packing Packing. Lunching. Eating yummy food that my mom makes. Packing. Seeing people. Churching. Packing. Yard Saling (THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED AND BOUGHT THINGS!!!). Reading. Hanging out with this sweet dog fella I know named Duke who lives out back. Watching Netflix (aka Ugly Betty).
I mean, it's basically been a riot.
AND TONIGHT…………………………
I actually got everything into my pack – a YEAR's worth of tampons and clothes and more! It's nuts, but it happened. It's not as organized as I'd like, but I'll fix that soon. Like tomorrow. Because right now, it's bedtime.
Fundraising update:
Thanks tons to everyone who has donated!! Right now I am sitting at $8,000 in my AIM account. Factoring in monthly donors and a few other donations I know are on their way, I'm right at $9,000! I need $11,000 by November which means $2,000 in two months!!
Thank you al so much for you incredible support and help. This journey wouldn't be half as exciting without you!
