Welcome y’all!
I am about to embark on the adventure of a life time! Come, join with me as I seek to do the Lord’s will for my life and step into the life He has lead before my feet. This is about to be one wild ride.
I’m Ben, 26 years young and as far as I know, I’m one of a kind. I grew up in the majestic Pacific Northwest where the mountains are high and the waters deep. There is God’s beauty everywhere you look. I’m currently working for Young Life (a youth outreach ministry) at one of their camps in central Oregon where I cut a LOT of grass, hang out with flowers, fight wild fires, and have the opportunity to minister to college and high school students by working beside them and encouraging them in their walks with Christ. God has graciously used my life’s story to share with others that there is hope for those that have been down so many dark roads. I’m a man of adventure, always seeking what God has to offer me. I am so excited for what God has in store for me during this next season of life.
Here are of few ways in which I like to get down:
- I enjoy science, creation. I believe that God is the ultimate scientist. He blows my mind with His wonders!
- I desire for God to take full control of every aspect in my life, even if it means letting go of the things which I love the most.
- I downhill mountain bike, snowboard, skate, fish, camp under the stars, hike mountains, chase sunsets, road trip to unknown destinations, and hunt rattle snakes in my freetime.
- I’d like to think I’m a landscaping guru.
- I find peace and rest in the outdoors.
- Star Wars changed my life the first time I saw it back in 1996.
- Young Life has and always will be a huge part of who I am.
- I have a passion and desire to reach out to those that are lost and forgotten.
- I live a life of authenticity and I’m all about real life.
- My friends sometimes call me the wizard. Why? Because Gandalf the Grey is one sick dude.
- The Seahawks are going to Super Bowl 50.
- I hate being alone and doing things by myself. I’m in a season of life however where God is refining my heart and is showing me that He is the only companion that I need. My main dude. He is faithful.
- Jeremiah 29:11 speaks deeply to my soul and the entire book of James are words which I desire to live my life by.
God has been good to me and I am so excited for this journey. Come, join me as I change the world.
