Hello friends and family I’m writing this to share with you that the beginning of a long journey is underway!!! God is so powerful when he speaks to you!
In September of 2018 I will set out on a nine month missions trip to some awesome places including, Thailand, Malaysia, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. I am so passionate about this trip and can’t wait to see the doors that God will open up for me and my squad. This news may come as a surprise to some of you, but God has been planting this seed in my heart for awhile. Let me tell you how everything started to come together.
After experiencing several short term missions trips, God started to speak to me about serving him. I began to pray and ask God to show me a clear path about what my next step should be. Then, I came across the World Race while looking into various mission opportunities. After much prayer on asking God where he was calling me I felt peace that this was what I needed to pursue. Throughout this whole process the verse that continues to speak to me is Mark 16:15 (NLT) And then he told them,”Go into the all the World and preach the Good News to everyone.”
This is going to be an incredible journey of faith and perseverance! I am so honored to have you walk with me through this journey. I want this blog to be a true picture of the testimonies of God’s faithfulness as well as the challenges of what lies ahead.
