Hey gang,
I just wante to let you all know that we are safely here in Iquitos, Peru. We hit the ground running last night as we went to a workers union to share what was on our hearts and pray for the guys. This morning we split up guys and gals and went to gender respective prisons. Today I saw grown men cry as His grace and freedom washed over them. Today I saw a group of young men who have only known each other for a week step up in boldness and confience and speak with an authority and sensitivity that comes from the heart. I am proud of our group in so many ways already and look forward to seeing how God keeps working in and through us.
We´ve got a handful of packed days here in Iquitos, working with some local leaders, churches, prisoners and everyone in between. On Monday, we will be heading out on a boat up into the Amazon Jungle…I´m not sure when we will be able to contact you next after Monday but it will be a priority when we have the opportunity. Thank you for your prayers and encouragements. God is quickening our hearts and preparing our minds at some ridiculous speeds.
