I can’t really get into any specifics right now because I don’t know many and I know too many all at the same time 🙂 It’s been a long day and I than you all for your prayers. I’ve been working quite a bit on some logistical stuff to help expediate the process of getting teams into Haiti as quickly and safely as possible. I’m thankful that I am not the one in charge of all of this and that there are a number of people doing it from different sides. Regardless, I should have another update for you in the near future with some more details.
Until then, please be praying for discernment, guidance, wisdom, peace and joy for us down here. Haiti has been heavy on our hearts and there has been an outpouring that is both encouraging and exhausting from people around the states wanting to help. Somehow our work on “transition training” seems to look a lot more like the world race again than life as we know it in the US…ironic eh?
OK, I need to rest and I’ll get back on that horse tomorrow but thank you again for your prayers and be looking for some more concrete stuff soon!
