“Like clouds and wind without rain is a man who boasts of a gift he does not give.”
Proverbs 25:14
I’ve read this verse a number of times and I think I always read the ending like this: “who boasts of a gift he does not HAVE.” Every cloud has substance (H20) to make rain but not every cloud drops it’s substance wherever it goes. There are many who are thirsty and look to those who seem to have the substance in them to satisfy their thirst…The question is whether those who have that substance will freely GIVE it as it has been freely given to them. This world is dry…will you give it a chance to soak Him up? You never know who’s looking to you to show them where to get living water.
