I believe that there is an almighty, wonderful, magnificent Creator of the universe and Creator of my heart who is in a passionate and relentless pursuit of me…
 
I believe that He delights in making me whole and holy.
 
I believe He delights in setting me free from sin that so easily entangles
 
I believe He does all things for good 
 
I believe that He is real, that He is not fake and He is not tame
 
I believe He is making His church into a spotless Bride
 
I believe He holds the universe in His palm and yet awaits my slightest glimpse
 
I believe I was made more as spirit than of flesh
 
I believe this world is not my home
 
I believe there is an incomprehensible beauty to who I am
 
I believe He wants me to know Him fully even as He knows me fully
 
I believe He has sent His son to make that tangible
 
I believe His son went through with His fathers plan for the JOY that was set before Him in knowing that it would someday unify us with Him
 
I believe that at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and tongue will confess that He is LORD
 
I believe that He will come again to judge the living and the dead
 
I believe He is at the right hand of God the Father RIGHT NOW interceding on our behalf
 

I believe this because I know it is true…With all of my heart I can tell you without a shadow of doubt the validity of Jesus Christ and His endearing love for me and yet for the life of me I can tell you that more than most anything on this trip, I’m going to have to learn to believe this…I believe but I need to Believe…I see but I need to See…I hear but I need to Hear…I know but I need to Know…I’m connected and yet I need to be Connected…
 
The truth of the matter remains that this is His captivation of my heart and without my understanding of who I am and who He has created me to be, I will only love others partially, serve others partially, respect others partially, see only part of their beauty, hear only part of their cry, encourage only parts of their lives…This drives me to be wholly His…

 
I want to live life abundantly…I want to be ALIVE…and I want others to be alive too!! no buts, no ifs, no what abouts…
 
I believe there is a transforming power within me that helps me become ME…the one I was created to be, the one I long to live a life worthy of my calling, the one whom Isaiah says “Then I replied, it is written about ME in the scroll…”
 
I believe there is a scroll in heaven where my name and God’s story through me is being written…how beautiful is that!!!
 
I also believe that all creation in heaven and earth waits and groans for His return while cheering us on with a deafening roar that I long to have ears to hear
 
I believe that this upcoming year will strip me of myself to reveal who I am…
 
I believe that through His refinement, I’ll be given eyes to see, a heart to know and the courage to believe wholly
 
I believe some of you reading this will think that I think that it’s all about me… which is ironic because it is absolutely
completely about HIM…and yet for whatever ridiculous reason, He has
made it about you and me too…why He values us like that I do not
know…but He does and until we realize that, we’ll be missing out on a
unity far better than we can imagine…
 

I believe that this trip is just as much for you as it is for me…
 
I believe there is a good chance we’re not that different
 
I believe that Him setting me free to help me believe will in turn give some of you the hope to want to be free too…
 
I believe that hope is contagious and is something we all DESIRE with our inmost being and I believe most of us hold unto it like a balloon so tightly as if it were to fly away if we didn’t have a firm grasp on it. I believe we are afraid to soar so we try our best to stay grounded…
 
I believe He wants you to know Him fully even as you are fully known
 
I believe there is an incomprehensible beauty to who you are
 
I believe the world is not your home
 
I believe you are made up of more spirit than flesh
 
I  believe He holds the universe in the palm of His hand and yet awaits your slightest glimpse
 
 I believe He delights in setting you free from sin that so easily entangles
 
I believe He is making you whole and holy
 
I believe He has formed your heart in His likeness for His good pleasure and I believe that you are reading this because like me, everything inside of you knows this, but needs to know this, sees this but needs to see this, hears this but needs to hear this and believes this but needs to really believe this…
 
 
Marianne Williamson says it pretty aptly when she writes:
 

“Our
deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we
are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that
most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to
be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the
world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as
children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is
within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let
our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to
do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence
automatically liberates others.”

 
I believe He’s about to liberate me…
