I made it safely down to Georgia and am currently with 13 other World Racers and staff working on a program called Searchlight. It’s my goal to write a little blog daily for you for the next couple weeks so hold on! I’ve already got some stuff on my heart to share with you but I wanted to make today’s short and simple.
The other day I was spending some time in prayer and a little while in I kinda just stopped (or started) and asked “God, how ya doin?” and then waited, expecting a response. It hit me that in our church circles we are so quick to reference the truth that “it’s about relationship, not religion” and yet how often do we actually make it a relationship? Our knee-jerk reaction when seeing nearly everyone is “how ya doin?” but how often do you really ask God that? When was the last time you really waited to hear His response?
Do you believe He speaks? Do you want to hear what He has to say? Do you want to know what He answered? Ask Him!
