Hello friends 🙂

Many of you have supported me through prayer, encouragement, sacrificial giving and many other ways. I've been truly blessed to have you follow me these past years and am thankful more than I know how to express for the blessings you've given. Thank You!

Soon, Ang and I will be starting a new blog together as well as a new life. We've started that transition these past months which is part of why my blogging has been put on hold. We've been stretched and have seen God's faithfulness. We've also had some rough days and weeks with delays and obstacles. I haven't seen my bride since the start of the new year and won't until the end of May…that's a brutal stretch for any couple.

The fiance visa process that we started last fall is nearing completion and we're really looking forward to being together and married in a couple months. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that we won't have obstacles and that everything is figured out yet….Fortunately, that means that we can face those obstacles and figure it out one day at a time together!

I'm writing to you because we could use some help.

The visa process is complicated and expensive. We could use some serious prayer for favor in having everything go smoothly.

AIM has asked us to pray about having some integral positions in training their long-term missionaries. This position would start this summer which leaves little room for raising support. The two of us have been praying about this possibility and have been weighing options. We could use your prayer. Likewise, we could use support. The only way a transition like this would be even possible for newlyweds that have been doing missions these past years instead of working straight making money here, is with your help.

In fact, finances in general are pretty tight. We've been learning these past years how to walk by faith in other countries and with other people. Walking by faith and planning a wedding by faith is another beast. We've been planning wedding dates, arrangements, food and everything else that most couples go into debt for all with a budget called faith. We've been trying to remain frugile and yet even then, we'll still need His blessing to pay for the wedding and visa stuff…not to mention living expenses or eventually a vehicle. On top of all of that, to consider moving to Georgia sounds even more fiscally irresponsible for a new couple. Yet, there's a whisper that keeps leading us towards that direction and that whisper has been faithful in the past.

Regardless, we've got some pretty significant changes coming in our lives and we could really use your prayer and encouragement through this season. If you'd like more information or specifics with the decisions we are weighing, please don't hesitate to call or email me.

In His Love,
b
