Below are a number of the street kids we worked with in Dehradun. These little ones stole my heart. The first time I saw them they were being put to work as child workers in this stone quarry deal..They were living in makeshift huts with their parents and many hadn't been educated. Within a few days many of them were back in school at a place our contact had set up to educate the poor and underfortunate. I miss many of these kids dearly.
I couldn't help taking a picture at these beautiful feet and wonder where God will take them.
This little guy's smile was contageous and always fun to be around. He loved be held and thrown into the air.
We went to a place called Sat Tal for a quick rest…and a chance to wrestle through some things with God…Branden and Nic saw a black panther in this area from accross the river…I'm pretty sure God was gracious in saving me from being eaten by one the next day…ask me for a quick story sometime about it if you want.
These pics were also in Sat Tal (Near Nani Tal). This is me when I'm creative 🙂
Agra…This is us at the Taj Mahal above..Agra may be the most over-rated city in the world…I definitely don't have fond feelings for it and wouldn't mind never coming back to this city. Below is the train station we boarded. We were all done with the city quick enough that within 24 hours we were on literally the next train south…If this looks like a lot of people, you should have been in our box car!
