I couldn't find a better way to explain the truths I've been writing about to you other than to point you to some scriptures that I would love for you to check out if you're serious about wanting to walk the road to freedom!!

In regards to the new covenant, the bible says:

…This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you…
~Luke 22:20

…In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
~1 Corinthians 11:25

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant"not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts! Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.

~2 Corinthians 3:6-12

OR, you could read through the start of Hebrews 8:

1 Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, 2 and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by a mere human being.

3 Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. 4 If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already priests who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. 5 They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” 6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.

7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.

…For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance"now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
~Hebrews 9:15

…to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
~Hebrews 12:24

Better yet, Jesus said:

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
~John 14:21

-Automatically I can assure you that some of you STILL thinks that the commands He is talking about here is the Mosaic law built on the 10 commandments…For those still wondering what Jesus would say about that, I think the answer is found here:

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you."
~Jesus (John 15:12)

…for the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." ~Galatians 5:14

So if the whole law is all about love, then what was the purpose of the old laws through Moses in the first place? We'll look at that a little bit in the next blog.
