Today is the last day of orientation and about to move out feeling both incredibly purpose filled and Spirit driven. From the first day getting off the plane there is a difference in the culture along with the obvious culture shock; however, there is still such an incredible warmth and familiarity of amongst the squad in the love of Christ. God is definitely working great things in this land and the Indian people have been so warm in their smiles and we are all so incredibly optimistic in working alongside the Holy Spirit. My team had initially thought we were heading south and in the 11th hour and in our prayers the practice of being flexible has become evident and we are now heading east. Our prayer throughout this month has been less about the location and more about the renewing of our spirits and we walk out confident and emboldened that God’s Will is being played out and we are following in His plan. There was a beautiful moment last night I am happy to share, in the early morning hours sitting atop the roof of our base, Jack gave a beautiful prayer of redemption and love on the city and as he concluded we both saw this quick flash of light envelope the night sky. While that in and of itself is beautiful, this morning we learned another team was on the rooftop and after their prayer they saw the same light. God often reveals Himself in many different ways and it is wonderful to know the same God I’ve known in the States is the exact same God who is present and loves His people in India. Once again, we are so encouraged by your prayers and ask you to continue pressing in that God will continue to use our squad for His glory in this beautiful land of so many that need His Grace.
