Its really hard to believe in yourself sometimes. I don’t know how many of you have actually ever thought about it or not, but believing in yourself and in the things that God has gifted you in, and in the things that God has called you to is something of great importance.
That is where I have found myself here lately.
Next month all of the guys will be together on one team for the entire month, a thing we on the World Race call “Manistry Month,” and I have been asked to be the team leader for that month. I have been asked to step up into leadership over 10 other guys for entire month….
I don’t think I need to say how much I doubt myself and second guess myself already to those of you who know me well, but God has called me up into this.
I’m not really sure as to why I’m also writing a blog on this, but I just wanna say that if God believes in you and in what He has created in you, then you need to believe in yourself as well. This is something I’m definitely still learning, but I have already seen myself beginning to believe in the leader that God has created me to be.
The worst thing that a person can do is not believe in themselves and then go and try to be someone else because they don’t believe in themselves. I have definitely been there and am still fighting to not be there. God only created one Benjamin Swain and if I don’t believe that I am him and start walking in that, then no one will ever be that either. There will never be another Benjamin Swain and so I can’t let myself get bogged down in not liking the man that God created when He created me.
I would challenge my readers to do the same. Really look at yourself and who you are and who God has created you to be. Thats the only person you need to be, yourself. Ask God what and who He sees what He looks at you. You might be surprised at what He says 🙂
