So this is Month 8!  We are currently outside of Nsoko, Swaziland.  We are staying at an AIM facility called G-42.  It is a center for kids to come and play after school and also to get fed when they get out of school.

Things we are doing this month include:  Going to care points in the afternoon to teach Bible lessons and sing songs and do skits with kids (care points are places exactly like the one we’re staying at, kids get fed and whatnot there), working here at the center doing some maintenance and also getting a community garden ready, and just playing with the kids here at the center.

Another big part of our ministry here is pouring into the AIM staff and the Swazi workers here.  They do not get many opportunities to be poured into, mostly just pouring out.  So be in prayer for them and their ministries.

Something else to be praying about is the kids here at the center.  At the care points the kids are a lot shyer.  They are better behaved and just more low key.  Here at the center it is the complete opposite.  The kids here are crazy, doing any and every thing they can to get attention from us.  Its super hard to minister to them and hang out with them when they are throwing rocks in the windows and banging on our door and screaming and crying just for the attention.  Parents here don’t really do anything with their kids, even the Christian parents, so they know they can come here and get it.  Another thing is that the culture here is very “me, me, me” “What do you have for me?”  That is already being seen in kids under the age of 10.  They are very self centered and its just super hard when we know we can go into the team house here, which they’re not allowed into, and shut the door.  Just pray for continued endurance and the strength of will to choose to be with them, even if we are getting mauled by them.
