So I definitely never thought that I would be someone that loves kids.  (whisper voice) Well guess what?

I AM!!!!!

Thanks to Mrs. Tracy Orr not leaving me alone about helping her out with her kids camp, which was God speaking through her, I now have a huge love for children.  After just one week, God cultivated a desire in me to see children come to know Him.  I wanna see kids KNOW Him for who He is, and that was the theme of this past week (June 12-16).  I know I'm late writing this, but I had to get a hold of a particular picture before I posted this ๐Ÿ™‚

As it would have it the theme of camp was "Identity Revolution."  (By the way, anything related to camp as in "OneWay," "Identity Revolution," etc. belongs to OneWay Ministries and not me, so nobody steel it ๐Ÿ™‚ thanks!)  It was focused around finding out who we are in Christ and the way to do that is to look in the Word to see who God is.

The theme verse was Ephesians 4:23-24, "23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God…." (NASB), but we used this translation, "23 you were taught to be made new in your hearts, 24 to become a new person.  That person is made to be like God…." (NCV).  Either one, the same message is communicated, that we were created in His image, therefore, created to look like Him in every way, which is the rest of verse 24, "…created in righteousness and holiness of the truth." (NASB).  This was simply amazing to me because I had just started to see who I am in Christ, and believe what He says.  Thats a big thing; you can read all you want about what God says about us, but if you don't believe, then there's no point in reading it is there?  God spoke to me so much through that happened and was said at camp.  God proved His faithfulness and His love for us to me, and He doesn't have to.  The fact that He doesn't have to prove anything to me really makes me wonder what He's preparing me for….

Anyways, back to camp.  Each day had questions around which the Bible studies and sermons were centered.  They were, "Who am I?", "Am I new?", "Am I like Christ?", and "Am I holy?"  There were also keywords that were answers to those questions, but I can't remember all of them right now,  so once I do I will comment below what they are.  Those are some loaded questions for even adults to tackle, let alone 2nd-6th graders.

There is far too much to say in one blog so, I shall go into the individual days on the following blogs just to save you from having to read all this at once ๐Ÿ™‚
