I’m sure everyone can look back in their life and find one circumstance good or bad that became a pivotal moment in their life. Call me Peter or spontaneous, but my life seems to be filled with many of these. The Lord has made me with a very passionate, accomplishing and willing heart. Many say I have an artist’s mentality because of how I feel so deeply for what is put on my heart, for visions and the thrive to bring a better and AuThEnTiC life to the world. When it comes to opportunities to bring Light or grow from anything Heavenly related to people, organizations or countries, I take them running and don’t ask questions. With that sprouts a life of many highs and lows, lessons learned the hard way, and being questioned or called naive in more ways than one. Yet, while one may see a decision to be naive, another thinks of it as nothing but walking in faith. Through faith I have seen, experienced and been blessed with the lessons from many opportunities in life,
Aiding a mommy/baby clinic in Mozambique, (The Milk Project, Little Changes International)
Assuring safety, aiding to and living the Gospel to college students partying on South Padre during spring break,
Helping a small organization in Jamaica make school supply donations to students in need, (The Monkey Tamarind Tree Foundation)
Spreading the Gospel through the mountains of Nicaragua and traveling to a multitude of countries simply for the joy of it and experiencing and learning from their culture (of course, having a lil fun along the way
)
(Cultural meeting pot and surf spot,Puerto Escondido, Mexico
(St. Gallen Cathedral, Switzerland) (bro’s+Board+beach=Perfect!)
The list goes on and on but that’s besides the fact, the fact is and was that the Lord had brought me to these places and built a character in me through all of them.
As I write this (but when you read this who knows where I will be!) my base is a small city in Texas where I work as a nurse on a trauma/surgical floor and live in my very own “Tiny House” I built through college.
(My philosophy on a 8’x20′ trailer)
(Favorite pair of scrubs!)
Being a nurse and bringing light and laughter to those in unwanted situations has brought much joy to my life. Though the job is secure, money can be relied upon, and all seems DrEaMy from the outside eye, it isn’t for me. Deep down, I don’t enjoy having a conventional lifestyle. Though money and a steady job is nice and wanted by so many, it is NOT the life I wish to be in any longer. I knew from the beginning working where I am wasn’t going to be my future, but simply a stepping stone to gain experience and shoot me in the direction God can use me better. I now see how God has pieced my puzzle together laying me out to be able to give and do much more with my life than ever imagined. My soul has made it known in many ways that this time is done and it’s time to get where God is really working. So I am saying YES! Where I have no accommodations and luxuries of this day and age, where people are DESPERATELY in need, where people rely on each other not this status quo of individualism is stature. Shoot I’m dying to be able to walk barefoot again without getting weird looks haha.
With that said, this is a bit about me. Interested in knowing me more, shoot me an email, I’d much rather make things a bit more personal or even chat on the phone a bit! Enjoy the future posts and prep yourself for the stories to come! Who knows what they will have in store
