Paddle boarders over Texas this post is for you!
It’s been such a blessing to become apart of the great paddling community we have growing here in Texas. Throughout the past year with competitions and hosting Belton Texas’ very first SUP race, the Bambu Bash, not only have good times and cheers been passed on but stories as well. With that said, here is my story, why I won’t be paddling with y’all next season and why I am raffling off my custom made 14′ 25″ Black Box Carbon Fiber Paddle Board.
Come the first days of September I will be leaving Texas and embarking on a trip around the world that will guide me through 3 continents and 11 countries and my time doing this will sadly come to an end next August. It is sure to be full of a lifetime of lessons, growth and circumstances to test and make me who the servant and Godly man I want to be for my future. My team and I will be serving in any way we can each place we lay, be it current ministries, orphanages, clinics, schools, communities, you name it, our hand will be in it. The financial amount I need to have laid aside before departing is grand, but nothing compared to the worth of what will happen during and after this experience. My mentality has already changed towards not caring for anything I own unless it brings me closer towards this trip becoming reality. This is why I have decided to raffle my Black Box racing paddle board. This board came to me as a blessing and I wish it to continue to carry that name for the one who wins it!
So here’s how it will work!!
Raffle Tickets will be 1 for $20 and 6 for $100
Tickets can be bought by donating straight to my blog on the “Support Here” tab. Be sure to have the “Support a World Racer” selected under the Choose Program bar, and Benjamin Baecker in the bar who you are donating to.
Make sure you put your email in the check out process so I can contact you if needed.
I see all individual donations toward my funding account but a safety net is always nice. So distinguish your donation being for raffle tickets by commenting on this blog after you donate/purchase with the amount of tickets you purchased. Your comment will match up in my email with your donation amount therefore assuring you are in the raffle.
All names will be placed in a bucket and drawing will take place at The Sup Cup in Bastrop Texas August 15, 2015.
