Hey readers,
I hope and pray that your week has been a good one and pray that this next week will be better!
I put another $200.00 into our account and we have raised about $450.00 out of our goal of $10,000.00 by September.
It is a great start!
So, I printed out this 30 day devotional on
“The Art of Listening Prayer”
by Seth Barnes and it is rocking my world!
Its about focusing in on hearing the voice of the Lord, in dialogue and in hearing the Lords response.
I am always the one to talk and ask for things from God and of course have requests to ask Him. But have forgotten about the sacredness to sit and to wait for Him to respond and to speak back.
Sometimes He doesn’t have to say a word after i ask Him a question. I just sit there and wait and I find myself in tears blown away by
His presence. His closeness. He is truly amazing, alive and beautiful.
Thank you Lord, Praise you forever and ever!!
A scripture that came alive to me in all this comes from the book of
Jeremiah 29:13
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”
The Holy Spirit, word by word, brought to me an understanding like never before regarding this scripture.
When I set time apart, intentionally make a priority to meet with the Lord, He is found like never before.
My favorite evangelist David Hernandez says this;
“A moment spent in the presence of the Lord can transform a life,
But,
A life time spent in the presence of the Lord can transform a nation.”
And I couldn’t agree more!
This is such a strong, true statement.
It requires us to take a serious look at our relationship with Christ.
Am I spending the right time with the Lord?
Am I giving Him the chance to speak to me regarding life and situations? and
Am I asking what He thinks on certain things?
This relationship is a connection between two people.
You and Jesus.
Keep praying for donors, financial need, and more ideas on what the Lord wants to do this summer.

Last prayer request;
Monday nights from 8-10 pm I go into work on my days off to teach a class called “Kingdom Living”
It is located at Portland House, Minnesota adult and teen challenge.
It is focused on the Gospels and The book of Acts.
Tuesday nights 8-10 pm I do the same at a different house.
Hudson House in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Teaching men to walk in the calling anointed by the Holy Spirit and seeking God and His word for the equipping.
Pray that these men get touched by the Holy Spirit and that we would continue to do what the Lord wants us to do in the time we have.
