Training camp was not what I expected but EXACTLY what I needed.

It was completely out of my element but taught me so much about who I am and what I’m capable of. And by the end of the week, I wanted to do it all over again. Training camp was amazing and I’m so thankful that I was able to be apart of it.

I kept telling myself that I wasn’t going to have any expectations going into training camp. I didn’t really have any expectations for the physical aspect of training camp. It’s the spiritual aspect that I had high expectations for and I didn’t realize it until I got there.

During training camp, God was stripping me of my need to be in control, my pride, and my fear of being vulnerable. I was able to grieve some failures and losses in my life. I learned to be vulnerable with my squad and to trust that God knows exactly what I need to prepare me for this upcoming journey.  But to be honest, He’s still working on me.

Here are some of the lovely ladies that I will be traveling with in January.

Team Alegria!! Isa, Tammy Jo, Karli, Lydia and Casey. More about these lovely ladies to come.

Introducing the Y squad! Squad wars champions of 2013!

Overall, training camp was amazing! I’m so thankful that I was able to go and learn so much and be encouraged in such a life changing way.

A HUGE thank you to all of my supporters. Thank you so much for giving and not just financially but also through your prayers and encouragement. This journey would not be possible without you.

Love you all,

Benita
