It’s our day off!

I’m enjoying a delicious cup of coffee and eating an incredible cookie they call Chiky.

Blogging has never been easy for me. However, as we finish these last months of the race I will be blogging more often so you know the incredible things that God is doing.

So let’s chat about climbing mountains and ministry for this month…

Climbing mountains has become a norm for me on the race. I have climbed more mountains on this journey than I have in my entire life. Crazy, right?!? However, where I’m from in Kansas City, Missouri, we don’t have these mountains. Where have these beautiful mountains been all of my life?! It’s such a great workout and when you reach the top the views are incredible. In a spiritual sense, I have also had to climb some mountains. Mountains of insecurity, vulnerability, getting rid of things in my life that are keeping me from being who God has created me to be and so much more. It hasn’t been easy but it has always been worth it. I’ve learned to climb these mountains with my hands wide open. Giving the Lord access to the things that keep me from having deeper intimacy with him. So I will continue climbing these mountains, in the physical and spiritual sense. Watching in amazement as God tears down walls in my life.

We are partnering with World Outreach Ministries this month. Working alongside Mark & Meg Kuzdas in Los Guido, Costa Rica.

We are also working with Team The Movement: (in no particular order) Brianna Lomas, Laura Ahrens, Isa Caszatt, Karli Newton, Abbey Boland, Jenny Kane, and Crystal McCartha. It’s going to be AWESOME!!

Welcome to our humble abode. We like to call it the Tent Suburbs.

We had a great first week getting to know the ministry here and cleaning around the church.

The last few weeks of this month we will be working with the kids that come to the feeding center. They have about 700 kids signed up to receive food before or after school.

While the kids come in and out from 11 am – 1 pm. We sing silly songs with them

and just showing them the love of Christ.

It’s going to be a wonderful month here in Costa Rica. I’m excited for what God is going to do through us to help reach Los Guidos for His kingdom.

Thank you so much for your support. I feel so blessed and honored to be able to share Jesus’ love for the remaining months of this journey.
