Have you ever felt like you were on a deserted island trying to build things with concrete with two other guys who speak a different language? One of the guys has hair like you'll have in 40 years and the other guy resembles a combination of your dad and Mr. Bean. I grown to like both of these guys this month.

This whole month our whole squad of 41 has been working on a youth camp, preparing it for the summer months when youth will come. We've been doing a lot of manual labor, and I actually really enjoy it. There's been landscaping, gardening, painting, digging, shoveling poo, moving rocks, sorting rocks, moving them again, whitewashing, shepherding, pig counting, kiwi vineyard preparing, septic tank cover removing and replacing, and more.

It's actually enjoyable, and it's special to me since I accepted Jesus when I was at a girl scout camp with our church youth group. Yes,… I said girl scout camp.
We eat breakfast at 7:30, have a Proverbs study at 8:00, work from 10-1:00, lunch til 2:00, finish work at 5, dinner at 6:15, Matthew study at 7:15-8:30, and then whatever til bed whenever.

For breakfast, I eat 7-8 pieces of bread with butter and jam. They call bread "buke."

Yep, that's been what we've done for the month. I miss people back in Alabama, and I think doing a lot of things   I'll do better about keeping you posted from now on. There's some exciting stuff just ahead!
