So if you’re reading this blog post, then you already know at least a little bit about the crazy-awesome ministry opportunity that I have recently been blessed with. I have been given the privilege to serve as a missionary through Adventures in Missions’, World Race program. The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world. I will be a member of the September 2012: Route 1 and my team and I will be “launching” on September 1st.
The countries that I am scheduled to travel to are: Zimbabwe/Botswana, South Africa, Swaziland, India, Philippines, China, Ukraine, Moldova, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica/Panama.
While on the Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with various churches and ministries in local communities. Our duties will include (but will not be limited to) preaching the Gospel, planting churches, working in orphanages, building new facilities, and ministering to people who are trapped in slavery and/or forced labor as a result of human trafficking.
I am so grateful for this opportunity that God has given me, and have every confidence that He will provide for my needs! Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you, my friends and family. The top three ways in which you can partner with me in this ministry are:
#1. Prayer! First and foremost, please pray for me and my family, along with the rest of my team and their families as well. We will all be leaving the comforts of home to follow the path that the Lord has laid before us. Also, please pray for all of the people and ministries that we will come in contact with during our 11 months of ministry.

#3. Donate! If you feel called to support me financially, I would be so very grateful. I must raise $15,500 in order to go on the World Race. That money will cover all of my expenses while on the field including food, lodging, and air, land & sea travel. Financial support can be given in a number of ways including a one-time gift or a monthly donation, wherein you choose the amount and beginning and end date. I am so excited to see how God will move and work in all of our lives in the coming year. I hope not only to be a blessing to those I serve, but also to you.
