We (I-Sqaud) met in Chicago, IL, along with three other World Race squads (J, K, and L), some of our families, and AIM/WR staff for an awesome few days of fellowship, worship and training before leaving for the nations.

I had mom and dad there with me.

And I got to reunite with my team. (Formal introductions to follow)

The purpose of these few days was to empower all of us as we begin the next chapter of our lives together. We had speakers who not only gave us practical knowledge for the Race, but also spoke life over us and into us.

We also had the great opportunity bond with one another. We all went out and explored Chicago together. We began our WR food budget of $3-5 per day. We made Ramen with the coffee maker in our hotel room and ate a lot of peanut butter.

To make a long story short, these few days we spent together were just what we needed. Being able to come together to be with friends and family, while still in the States, was a great transition time before officially leaving on the WR.
