Hey everyone,
As most of you know last spring I had the incredible opportunity to live in India for 4 months. While there, my team and I preached in local villages, help disciple the kids at Asha Mission Children’s Home, and shared the love of God with the people of India.
When I got back from India I thought I had aplan for my life and started going to college, but in February God began to tell me that it wasn’t what He had planned for me. Since then, He has been leading me to go on the World Race in September. For those of you who don’t know, the World Race is an 11 month mission trip that goes to a different country every month.
While I don’t know exactly what I’ll be doing when I return from the field, I do believe this is the direction in which God is leading me. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said “faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” That is how I look at this opportunity, I don’t know what God has in store for me when I return, but I do know this is the first step in many for the big plans He has for me.
Where I’ll be going and what I’ll be doing
As of right now my route is: the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, Ukraine, Romania, Nepal and India.
Ministry will vary from month to month with every country we go to, so be sure to subscribe to my blog to get the latest updates while I’m in the field. Some of the various things we might be doing are village ministry, working in orphanages, door to door ministry, along with many other types of mission work.
Ways you can help
- Giving: The total cost of the trip is $15,500. That’s a lot of money but our God is faithful to provide. I humbly ask you to consider giving financially. If everybody gives a little bit I’ll be fully funded in no time. You can donate either online by clicking the link https://www.adventures.org/give/donate.asp?giveto=worldrace or by sending a check to me at 3 Moss Rose ct., Taylors SC, 29687. All donations are tax deductible. Make checks out to Adventures in Missions.
- Sharing: One of the big things you can do to help is to tell everyone you know about my blog. Getting the word out about my trip is really important. The more people know about what I’m doing, the more people I’ll have praying for me and potentially supporting me financially. So if you have Facebook share it and if you have twitter tweet it.
- Praying: The biggest thing you can do for me is to pray. Not just that I’d raise all the money I need to, but also that God prepares me and my squad for the race.
Thank you all for reading my first blog ever. Make sure to subscribe for further updates. If you have any questions you can send me a Facebook massage or E-mail me at [email protected]
