Tuesday September 10th I fly out with the rest of my squad to the Philippines! There we will start the journey known as The World Race.  Before I leave I want to give a few quick updates to make sure everyone is up to date on all my information.

Route change: As most of you know by now my route has had some changes. Thailand, Uganda, Rwanda and South Sudan has been Replaced by Vietnam, Malawi, Mozambique and Swaziland. Making my new route Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland, Ukraine, Romania, Nepal and India.

International insurance: AIM (Adventures in Missions) has upgraded the international insurance they get, raising the cost of the trip by $780. As much as I don’t like to think about needing to be medically evacuated, having it covered as well as many other things that the upgraded insurance will do is well worth the extra money.

Update on fundraising: I would like to thank each and every one of you that has donated. I couldn’t have made it this far without you. It is thanks to all of you that in the past few months I was able to raise $6,545 of the $16,280 I need to raise. That still leaves me with $9,735 left to raise by February with $3,000 of that needed by my next deadline in November. That sounds like an awful lot, but after I break it down for you it won’t seem like that much at all. All I need is 40 people to donate $40 a month for the next 6 months. The easiest way to donate is by online. Just click on the link https://www.adventures.org//give/donate.asp?giveto=worldrace. You can even have it set up to do monthly donations automatically. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.

I’ll be updating my blog every couple of weeks with new ministry information and pictures, so make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss anything. As always if you have any questions feel free to email me at [email protected]
