Hello everyone!
I’m just about to start my eighth month on the race! I can’t believe how fast the first seven months went. But right now I really need your help.
I would like to thank everyone who has given financially and have been praying for me over the past seven months. So far I’ve raised $9,862.57 of the $16,261.40 I need to raise. I am amazed by the generosity of all of you. Unfortunately I missed my last two financial deadlines including my final deadline, and still need $6,398.83 to be fully funded. AIM has graciously given me more time to raise the money. Even with the extra time it still won’t be an easy task. I’ll need to have $2,000 more by April 14th or I will have to leave the Race and come back to America. While that is scary, this isn’t the first time I’ve been in this situation.
Some of you might remember that back in 2011, six weeks before I was supposed to go to India for four months I was still over $3,000 short of what I needed for the trip. Over the next several weeks I did what I could to raise the rest of the money I needed. With less than a week before I was supposed to go to India I was still over $800 short. I decided to get out my phone and contact a bunch of friends asking them to pray that I would get the rest of the money I needed. They of course said yes… and an hour later their prayers were answered and I was fully funded.
I am once again asking everyone to be praying that I get fully funded. I also ask that you get all of your friends and family to be praying for me. Just like last time I’m expecting God to come through in amazing ways.
