Spiritual Healing
On my knees, I held the legs of a lady in pain, her face pale from the effort it took her to get in the chair. The warm sun beat on my back as a light drizzle began to mist the ground around me. I focused on her face, sweet tears. She was a lady I met on the street that September morning. She suffered from Fibromyalga for years. Every Saturday she walks by the local church praying for healing, but she has never stopped to let the people pray for her. That day she took a leap of faith. She gave me the chance to pray over her. Her left leg was longer than her right, about an inch off. I was not surprised to see this when she told me how bad her back and hip hurt her. My eyes watched hers flutter as she felt the peace of our Lord fall on her. I prayed a simple prayer, “Lord, let this leg grow”. I prayed it over and over. Praying while believing that God would bless her for the giant leap of faith that she took. Still, with her leg in my hand, I watched and felt her leg grow. I felt every little centimeter until I could see that her leg matched the other. I was ecstatic! She was speechless.
Working non stop this month, from 9 to 6 each day, has been rewarding but tough. Ireland is in need of the love of the Father. From pub ministry to special need schools, the hearts of the Irish are ready to hear the story of Christ. But that may not have beens God’s purpose for T-Squad and for me to come here. I believe the spiritual healing and teaching I have received here in Ireland has prepared me for the war ahead of me in India and the countries to come.
Have you had a spiritual healing in your life? Have you ever experienced God’s love for you that is so thick that it is almost tangible? God has given that to me this month through moments in deep prayer and meditation. He has taught me that my words are powerful, just like His Son’s words were hundreds of years before me. I can move mountains. I can heal the sick. I can… do all things through Christ who gives me strength. He has healed my heart of the lies that have been spoken over me and I to myself. He has sent people into my life this month that have spoken prophetic words over me and my husband. And I am basking in the promise that I can trust Christ with my whole heart. He has given me spiritual healing.
Christ wants so badly to give you and I a spiritual revival. He longs for us to be open to His gifts. He wants to heal the hurts and the wounds that go deep into our soul. Allowing God to work in these spaces unlocks the door to more than you can imagine. Giving you moments like the one above when you watch the Lord perform a miracle in your hands. It also sparks a fire from within to Glorify Him that much more. Isn’t that what life is all about; loving God so much that through your love for Him you love the people around you?!
Here is my challenge for you: ask God where you need spiritual healing in your life. Write it down, and pray diligently that God will move. He will, and you will be blessed.
