To the eyes on the other side of the screen. To the people back at my hometown in Roanoke, Va. To my friends at college. To the friends of my parents Rob & Shawn. To my old teachers, coaches, Younglife leaders, childhood friends, teammates. All I can say is… thank you. Right now, I am sitting in Sophie Caffè in the capital city of Tiranë, Albania and (this has never happened to me I am usually extremely aware of my emotions) I am almost brought to tears by the thought of all of you that I previously mentioned. Because of each and every one of your generous hearts I was able to raise FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS to go on this mission. From the child refugees I met in Colombia, the school children in Ecuador, the teenagers I taught in Thailand, the trauma patients I played games with in Cambodia, the goats I milked in Albania (woah haha), to the people on the streets of the capital city of Tiranë. Each and every person I have walked past, smiled at, shared the gospel with, prayed over, said a quick hello, or heard their life story. Each and every encounter I owe to you. Please know that because you trusted in me you have impacted this world alongside me these past seven months. I can say with my whole heart that I could not have of done this without you all. You supported me not just financially but spiritually as well. Through all the prayers, phone calls, and conversations that I had with so many of you that encouraged me to go on this journey and that you believed that I was now in God’s hands. I am so lucky to come from a place where my wildest dreams are supported wholeheartedly. You all are my rock, my foundation. This has not been easy but because of you I have the strength to keep fighting for God. Because of you I am able to spread my wings and share His love with the nations. I am humbled at the faith that you all had in me. With blessings and love and so so so much gratitude- Isabella Sorrentino
