Hey y’all, here’s an update on The World Race!
Proverbs 16:9
“We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.”
Training Camp went well, I learned a lot and made lots of amazing friends. It was a battle at times for me as I felt like I was wrestling with God as he told me that I wasn’t supposed to go on the world race as planned. My Doctors say I am showing some early signs of the same disease that has caused my brothers blindness. Due to this possible medical condition and LOTS of prayer with God, I have decided it is God’s will for me not to go on The World Race this year. This time will give my doctors a chance to do genetic testing and monitor me more frequently to rule out or treat any disease quickly, all of which would have been impossible with leaving for 9 months out of the Country. I am looking at possibly going to another mission trip with The World Race in the future using the money already donated. If I am unable to go in the future I will personally return every donation made for me to The World Race trip. I trust God’s wisdom in this and I am grateful he always directs us. I know his timing is perfect.
