This past month my life has been pretty crazy I decided to uproot my life in Michigan and move halfway across the country to Colorado…
Yes, I know what you might be thinking, are you crazy? Moving at a time when you are trying to raise this amount of money just seems ridiculous. But let me tell you a story about the trip when coming to Colorado, and a reason I believe this was the best choice.
I packed up everything I owned in my little car before my brother and I headed out early on a Friday morning on March 2nd. We had plans to stop in Chicago, and St. Louis. After that we planned to stop at my Dad’s house for the night in Salem, MO.
The next morning as we got ready to get back on the road, my Dad stopped me and told me he had been saving up change for a while and wanted to give it me for my World Race fund. I assumed that it was probably a mason jar full of coins but of course I was wrong… He brought out about a gallon sized bucket full of change!!! I was blown away…
After arriving in Colorado and settling in, I started to count the change. It ended up taking three days to seperate and roll all of it. After I finished rolling the change I realized that the total amount put me exactly at my first five-thousand goal!!!
How cool is it that this donation came when I had made a decision to go on this journey. It was definitely a confirmation that this was the right choice. So you might think I’m still a little crazy, but I know in my heart this was the right choice!
I still have a long ways to go before I reach my 15,000 goal but I have full faith that the funds will be raised!
A huge thank you to everyone who has prayed, and supported me so far it means so much!!
